Privacy policy
Last updated: 3 November 2026
This page explains which personal data are collected on irecs.fr and on the @i.recs Instagram account, why, and how to exercise your rights. The data controller is Ivan Guillot (i.recs), 60 rue François 1er, 75008 Paris, contact.irecs@gmail.com.
1. Your email: free guide, tips and offers
When you leave your email to get the free guide or the guide excerpt, it is used for three things: sending you the guide, then sending you photo and editing tips, and presenting my guides and offers (for example a discount or something new). That's all: your email is never sold or given to anyone else.
Your address is passed to Web3Forms, which emails it to me, and saved in my own list, hosted by Cloudflare (the site's database). The emails themselves are sent by Resend, from its servers in the European Union (Ireland); Resend only knows whether they arrived, were opened or clicked, and tells me so I know which tips interest you. During the switchover, your list also exists at Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France). Every email contains an unsubscribe link: one click and you receive nothing more. You can also ask for your address to be deleted at contact.irecs@gmail.com.
Legal basis: your consent, given when you leave your email. You can withdraw it at any time.
2. The quote and question forms
When you use the « Request a quote » or « Just a question » form, the following may be collected: name, email address, phone (optional), Instagram account (optional), details about your car (make, model, year, colour), type of project, desired place and date, indicative budget and your message. For a gift request: the person's first name, the occasion and the desired date.
They are used to answer your question or quote request, to prepare and organise the shoot if you go ahead, and to follow up the business relationship. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request (quote) and the legitimate interest in answering messages received.
3. Automatic Instagram messages
When you comment a keyword (for example GUIDE) under an @i.recs post, or send it as a private message, an i.recs tool automatically sends you the requested link by private message and may reply to your comment. To do so, Instagram (Meta) passes to i.recs the text of the comment or message, your Instagram ID and, if the link is for followers only, whether you follow the account.
i.recs keeps neither the content of your messages nor your username: only an encrypted ID is kept, so you are not sent the same thing twice. Your Instagram ID in clear is kept for 48 hours at most, to send you a single reminder if you haven't opened the link. The link you receive is personal: it shows whether it was opened and, anonymously, which message and which post led to a purchase.
If you ask for a shoot quote by private message, your username, profile name and answers (car, place, period, use, email if you give it) are kept so I can reply, and a copy is emailed to me. If you leave your email by private message, I send you the guide by email and your address joins the same list as in point 1, for the same purposes.
If you buy a product, your email is also used to send you the link to your customer area (a private page with your bonuses and updates) and to let you know when something new arrives there.
These data are hosted by Cloudflare and deleted after 12 months. To have them deleted sooner, send « SUPPRIMER » by private message to @i.recs, or see the page data deletion.
4. Audience measurement
The site counts its visits anonymously, to know how many people visit it, which pages are read, where visitors come from (for example Instagram) and how many free guides are downloaded. No measurement cookie is set, and neither your IP address nor your email is recorded: each visit gets an encrypted ID, different every day, which cannot identify you. These figures are stored at Cloudflare and are used only by i.recs.
5. Recipients
Your data is intended only for Ivan Guillot (i.recs). It goes through the technical providers the site and messaging need: Cloudflare (hosting of the site, the statistics and my email list), Resend (sending emails, servers in the European Union), Web3Forms (form delivery), Brevo, by Sendinblue SAS (email list and sending), Payhip (payment and delivery of digital products), Meta (Instagram messages and, if you accept it, ad measurement) and Google (email). Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union, under appropriate safeguards (the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision).
6. Retention period
Your email stays on the list until you unsubscribe; it is then deleted within 30 days. If you bought a product, your address stays linked to your customer area so you keep access to your bonuses, even if you unsubscribed from tips and offers. Quote exchanges are kept for at most 3 years after the last contact, then deleted. If a shoot takes place or a product is bought, accounting documents are kept for the legal period (10 years).
7. Cookies
The site sets no audience-measurement cookie: visits are counted without cookies (point 4).
Meta pixel, only if you accept it. When you click « Accept » in the banner, the site loads Meta's pixel (Facebook, Instagram). It sets a cookie (_fbp) and sends Meta the pages viewed, the opening of checkout and the sign-up to the free guide, with technical information about your browser. It tells me whether my Instagram ads bring visits and purchases, and helps show them to interested people. Meta processes this data as joint controller, under its own privacy policy, sometimes outside the European Union (standard contractual clauses). If you decline, or choose nothing, nothing is loaded. Your choice is kept in your browser; you can change it at any time with the « Cookies » link at the bottom of every page. Duration: 13 months at most for the choice and for the Meta cookie.
If you buy a product, payment is handled by Payhip, which may set the cookies needed for payment.
8. Photographs and image rights
People who appear in the photos published on this site agreed to it. If you appear in an image and want it removed, write to contact.irecs@gmail.com. Number plates can be hidden on request.
9. Your rights
Under the GDPR and the French Data Protection Act, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data. To exercise them, write to contact.irecs@gmail.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
10. Changes
This policy may be updated. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page.
